• Ensure access to specialist dental services for the public and accept referrals from general dental services, doctors, and others
• Provide advisory services to the dental health service as a whole, to the healthcare system, and to the public
• Contribute to decentralized specialist training for dentists and offer clinical practice training for dentists undergoing specialist training in collaboration with dental educational institutions
• Conduct and facilitate research and professional development within the dental health service in collaboration with other relevant professional environments
• Provide continuing education for dental health personnel and other healthcare professionals
• Contribute to the recruitment and retention of dental health personnel in the region
